Crocodile River Music is bringing to Newton the music of Mali, Brazil, Spain and Trinidad plus the instruments and dances that celebrate these cultures. On Friday, April 8 from 7:00 to 10:00 p.m. at Newton South High School, located at 140 Brandeis Rd. in Newton, Crocodile River Music will perform as part of the Global Music Concert Series, which is conducted by Newton’s Creative Arts and Science organization.
Complimentary wine, beer and light fare will be provided and included in the price of a ticket. No one under age 21 will be allowed in.

Creative Arts and Sciences is a volunteer-driven, community-funded organization that brings enrichment programming into the classroom to support all areas of curricula. CAS is a collaboration of parent volunteers, principals, teachers and presenters in each school as well as of committees across the district, and is supported by Newton Public Schools. Creative Arts and Sciences is a leader in PTO-supported enrichment programming in the state. All programs are fully funded by each school’s PTO.
